Meghan Markle, 43, has shared some new photos on social media, showing a more relaxed side of her life. In the pictures, the Duchess of Sussex is seen walking along the beach and picking apricots from a tree. She added a short note about her weekend plans: “Pick fruit. Snack. Repeat.”
While Meghan enjoys these calm moments, her husband Prince Harry, 40, reminded the public of the difficult times she faced in the past. At the Nexus Global Summit in New York, Harry said that back in 2018, Meghan was “trolled more than anyone else in the world.”
According to Page Six, Prince Harry explained that their Archewell Foundation supports programs that fight cyberbullying and online isolation. “We have a real example of what it looks like,” he said. Harry also pointed out that “the harder someone’s life is, the less compassion they seem to receive.”
Their wedding took place on May 19, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. That’s likely why Harry focused on that year. However, critics argue that the online criticism has continued even more strongly since they stepped down from royal duties and moved to the United States.
Some people claim the Sussexes try to attract attention despite saying they want privacy. Others say Meghan appears insincere and unnatural, especially after projects like her recent cooking show, “With Love, Meghan.”
