Millie Bobby Brown, now 21, recently opened up about her relationship with David Harbour, 50, during an interview with Deadline. Harbour plays the adoptive father of her character in Stranger Things, a dynamic that shaped much of their on-screen chemistry.

Millie explained that she always feels safe and comfortable working with him, even after all the rumors that surfaced earlier. “We’ve been working together for 10 years. I feel safe with everyone on set,” she said. “It’s natural when you’ve spent this much time together. And because we play a father-daughter duo, our connection is naturally much tighter. We’ve had some incredibly intense scenes, especially in season two.”

She also shared how excited she is for fans to finally see the work they’ve done together. “David and I have a great relationship. We work very closely during filming and preparation, so I’m really looking forward to seeing the final result — all the love and effort we poured into it.”

The first episodes of Stranger Things Season 5 premiered this week, and the finale is set to drop on Christmas. Millie believes their scenes will play a major role in the story. “I think our scenes are going to be really important. I love filming with him. Whenever I see we’re scheduled together, I try to give everything I can, because I know he brings the same energy.”

Earlier reports claimed that Millie had filed a complaint to Netflix about Harbour’s behavior on set, accusing him of intimidation and harassment — allegations serious enough for the studio to launch an internal investigation.

Meanwhile, Harbour continues to attract unwanted attention in the media. His most recent controversy involves his ex-wife Lily Allen, who released an entire album about their relationship and his alleged infidelity.
