Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polanski have put their professional projects on hold to devote time to their newborn, People reports. The couple said they are on a summer break to stay with the baby.

According to the insider, “Both are beaming with happiness when they talk about parenthood,” and the source added that the pair glow whenever they discuss their new role as parents.

The same source noted, “Michael looks lighter, happier,” after the couple announced their leave. They reportedly took vacation time this summer to be with the infant.

Observers first spotted the pop star cradling an infant during a walk, sparking speculation that a surrogate carried the child. In a 2019 interview, the singer said, “I want to act in movies. I want to have children.” She reiterated on Stephen Colbert’s show in October 2025, “More than anything, I want to be a mom. That’s my next big role, I hope.”

No official statement has been released by the artist or her representatives, but the new parents are focusing on family life for now.
