After weeks of speculation, Oksana Samoylova, the 37-year-old blogger and wife of rapper Dzhigan, has finally spoken openly about their divorce. Until now, she had stayed silent, dropping only subtle hints and cryptic messages on social media.
Samoylova broke her silence during Olga Buzova’s bachelorette party in Moscow, where she briefly talked to reporters. When asked about the rumors, she didn’t hold back:
“From the official side — yes, it’s true. We hadn’t confirmed or commented on it before,”
she said, putting an end to months of speculation.
The influencer also dismissed rumors suggesting the breakup was a PR stunt for a new project. “No, it’s not about promotion,” she clarified.
Speaking candidly, Oksana admitted that this has been an emotionally tough period:
“Some days are better, some are worse. After all, 17 years together isn’t just a day or a year.”
She also mentioned that their four children reacted differently to the news, each coping in their own way.
Oksana and Dzhigan’s story began back in 2010, and they married two years later. Throughout their 12-year marriage, the couple faced multiple rough patches and even came close to breaking up several times — but always found a way back to each other. Oksana has previously admitted that she often stayed for the sake of their kids:
“I knew separating would be the best decision for me, and I was ready for it. But I thought of our four children, who would suffer. So I gave them one more chance to have a mom and dad — not for my husband, but for them.”
On October 9, it became public that Oksana had officially filed for divorce, ending their 12-year marriage. The paperwork was submitted on October 6. Around that time, she posted online about feeling like a “girl who’s tired of being strong.”
Interestingly, just a day after the news broke, Dzhigan released a new song dedicated to his wife — a love confession under a lie detector test. This move sparked gossip that the couple’s drama was all part of a marketing ploy. However, those rumors have now been shut down: the first court hearing in their divorce case is officially set for October 28.
