Evgeniya Abdulova, the 18-year-old daughter of legendary Soviet and Russian actor Alexander Abdulov, has officially confirmed her romantic relationship with 32-year-old film director Alexey Fedortsov.
The couple recently appeared together at the premiere of the series “Open Marriage: Act Two.” While they had previously attended public events side by side, they were always reserved and avoided showing affection. This time, however, they made no attempt to hide their bond, as reported by KP.RU.
Interestingly, Evgeniya and Alexey are classmates at the prestigious VGIK film school, studying under Vladimir Khotinenko. Despite starting his higher education later in life, Fedortsov is already a successful director, known for working on music videos for Serebro and Anna Asti.
Evgeniya has shared that she has big dreams for her future but doesn’t rely on her famous last name to open doors. She once said, “It’s actually the opposite — you constantly doubt your own worth as an artist. I’m very afraid of being judged unfairly.”
Both Evgeniya and Alexey have never been married and have no children. It’s worth noting that Evgeniya was born during Abdulov’s second marriage to Yulia Meshina, just one year before the beloved actor passed away from cancer. Besides Evgeniya, Abdulov also had an adopted daughter, Ksenia Alferova, from his previous wife, actress Irina Alferova.
This story has attracted wide public interest, especially given the age difference and their shared creative journey.
Many readers reacted negatively to the news, criticizing the age gap between Evgeniya and Alexey and questioning her personal choices. Others focused on her appearance, pointing out her tattoos and saying she doesn’t resemble her famous father.
