Famke Janssen Speaks Out
Famke Janssen thinks Marvel made a mistake — no joke. She’s been saying that for a while now.
The Fallout
So, Famke Janssen played Jean Grey in the original X-Men movies — a big deal, somehow. She wishes she could’ve explored more of that character — and who can blame her? It’s an iconic role — the thing is, she’d love to show us some amazing Phoenix, but that’s not happening, apparently. And now, she’s calling out Marvel, saying they made a mistake by not bringing her back. But, honestly, it’s not like we didn’t see this coming.
She’s not exactly being subtle, though — it works because she’s always been pretty open about her thoughts. Real talk — Famke Janssen’s got a point. She’s a talented actress, and Jean Grey’s an amazing character. How does she keep doing this? It’s a skill, for sure. Check out her interview at Famke Janssen’s Wikipedia page — it’s pretty interesting, actually.
And — sometimes just two words: she’s right. Lowkey, we’re all thinking it. But, to be fair, Marvel’s making some big moves with Avengers: Doomsday — they’re bringing back some big names, like Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Rebecca Romijn… yet, no Famke Janssen, and that’s kind of a bummer. When did this become a thing — excluding original cast members from big movies? That’s the question, isn’t it? Gotta say, it’s been a wild ride, and we’re not even close to the end, apparently — Avengers: Doomsday is set to break the internet, and we’re here for it.
But, the thing is — Marvel’s not commenting, and that’s okay, somehow. Famke Janssen’s still speaking out, and honestly, it’s pretty refreshing. She’s not holding back — and we’re here for it. The Avengers: Doomsday drama is somehow making waves, and we’re lowkey excited to see what’s next — no joke.
