Singer Shaman (real name — Yaroslav Dronov) and his wife Ekaterina Mizulina went to a church before Easter to bless traditional kulich cakes. After the ceremony, they took a few photos together with their student fans. A video showing the whole process was later shared by Mizulina on her Telegram channel.
“Hi everyone! We’re off to bless the kulich,” said the 41-year-old Mizulina in the video.
Earlier, Shaman mentioned that all the Easter preparations, like baking kulich and boiling eggs, are handled by his wife.
For a long time, their relationship stayed private. They first met in 2023 during one of Mizulina’s Minecraft streams, where the song “I Am Russian” was playing. That’s when Shaman himself suggested they meet. At that time, he was still married to Elena Martynova (they divorced in autumn 2024). The couple officially confirmed their relationship in spring 2025 during one of Shaman’s concerts. He invited Ekaterina on stage and told the full audience, “We are a couple. We are dating, and we are together.” Even now, some people remain skeptical about their relationship, thinking it might be a carefully planned PR move.
The 34-year-old Shaman and Ekaterina Mizulina got married in November 2025 in Donetsk, where they had arrived for the Day of National Unity. They registered their marriage at a local registry office, both wearing Saint Laurent outfits worth around 300,000 rubles. The main guest and witness at the ceremony was Denis Pushilin, the head of the DPR. For Mizulina, this was her first marriage, while for the singer it became his third. Before that, besides Elena Martynova, he had also been married to Marina Roshchupkina, with whom he has a daughter named Varvara.
The ceremony caused mixed reactions. Ksenia Sobchak called the newlyweds “plastic dolls Ken and Barbie,” while State Duma deputy Nina Ostanina criticized the event, describing it as overly showy because of the expensive outfits.
