The devastating wildfires in California have become a serious concern not only for locals but also for foreign residents living in the affected areas. Among those impacted is the son of Azerbaijani singer Nura Suri, who resides in Los Angeles.

Nura Suri shared her anxiety with followers on her social media account, saying:
“The wildfire in Los Angeles is approaching my eldest son’s home. I couldn’t sleep out of worry.” Later, in response to her followers’ questions, the singer confirmed that her son had already been evacuated to a safe location.

It should be noted that the wildfires, which began in early 2025, have caused significant damage across California, particularly in Los Angeles. Thousands of people have been evacuated, and countless homes and businesses have been destroyed by the relentless flames. Officials estimate the financial loss to be around $150 billion. Additional firefighting teams and equipment have been dispatched from other states to assist in controlling the fires.

Meteorologists have warned that the risk of further wildfire spread remains high due to strong winds and ongoing drought conditions. Local authorities have urged residents to stay alert and strictly follow safety instructions.
