The popular Russian TV show Heritage of the Republic is finally making a comeback after 10 years. According to Voice, the recording will start next week. The format of the show will stay the same, but there will be new hosts. Instead of Dmitry Shepelev and Yuri Nikolaev, the show will now be led by Valdis Pelsh and Valya Karnaval.
Some of the first guests on the new season are expected to be Polina Gagarina, Elena Vaenga, Sergey Shnurov, and Dima Bilan – all famous names in the Russian music world.
Before this, Valya Karnaval was part of another music show called Catch Me If You Can. She became well-known after a public conflict with singer Larisa Dolina, which gave her a reputation for having a hard time connecting with the older generation. But things changed when she worked in the same team with 80s superstar Alexander Serov. Surprisingly, they got along well, and there were no problems during the show. It seems that different generations were able to understand each other this time.
