Kaia Gerber and her best friend Jake Shane had a fun night out together. They were seen holding hands as they headed out for dinner at a popular sushi place called Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills on Monday night. They were dressed alike in white tops and jeans, with Jake wearing a baseball hat to promote Kaia’s new book project, Library Science.
Kaia worked with Alyssa Reeder to launch Library Science, which has a mix of short stories, essays, poetry, and more from writers and artists they love. The first issue is out now and you can find it online, and soon in independent book stores.
Kaia was on Jake’s podcast Therapuss back in October 2025, but they actually recorded it a year earlier. Jake said they lost the episode, but it all worked out because they became close friends during that time. Kaia even joked that she was happy when she heard the episode was lost.
