Tom Rhys Harries stars in the upcoming DC Studios film Clayface, which marks the studio’s first foray into the horror-thriller genre and will be R-rated.

The film, directed by James Watkins, tells the story of Matt Hagen’s rise to fame and his subsequent downfall after being horribly disfigured by a crime boss’s actions.

According to reports, the movie follows Matt as he seeks out a cutting-edge treatment that returns him to his former self but also affects his grip on reality, leading him down a path of revenge.

The film also stars Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella, and Eddie Marsan, among others.

In the comics, Clayface has been portrayed by several characters, including Basil Karlo and Matt Hagen, who both use their shapeshifting abilities to challenge Batman.

The movie is set to hit theaters on October 23, and the trailer is now available to watch.

The film’s R-rating is likely due to its dark and violent themes, which are hinted at in the trailer.
