The divorce between Oksana Samoilova and rapper Dzhigan has officially reached the courtroom in Moscow, marking another chapter in a story that has drawn plenty of public attention. Oksana, a 37-year-old entrepreneur and influencer, arrived at the hearing in person, while the 40-year-old artist once again failed to show up.
According to his representative, Dzhigan is still hoping to fix the relationship. Under Russian law, the couple has a two-month reconciliation period, meaning there’s still a small window for things to change. But Oksana’s actions speak louder: she has already taken off her wedding ring and openly told reporters that, long before the breakup, she felt she was handling everything on her own.
She explained that the rapper gave very little attention to the kids, leaving most of the parenting to her. Interestingly, Oksana now sees a shift: Dzhigan has been spending far more time with the children lately.
“The kids are doing great — truly happy. They live with me for half the week and with him for the other half,” she shared. “They’re getting much more attention now than before, so they’re not suffering. This whole journey isn’t about one month or two. Anything can happen… maybe he’ll mature too.”
Oksana also shut down rumors about Dzhigan’s alleged affairs. She made it clear that the decision to separate wasn’t about betrayal — it was about exhaustion. After years of holding everything together, she simply wants to live for herself for the first time in a long while.
“I don’t want anything right now,” she said. “No dates, no new relationships. I finally have time I want to spend on me — to reconnect with myself, understand who I am, and figure out what interests me beyond the kids and the family.”
Her words paint a picture many women relate to: the desire to pause, breathe, and rediscover one’s own identity after years of carrying the emotional weight of a marriage.
