The song arrives before the Italian rock band’s forthcoming ‘RUSH!’ global tour, during which they will perform their inaugural headlining arena concerts in the United States and make their stage debut in Australia.

As per the band members, ‘Honey (Are U Coming?)’ emerged after concluding their recent series of tour dates when they were still brimming with energy from the live shows and eager to create new content.

“We crafted the track immediately after the last tour. We still possessed abundant vitality from the touring and the journeys. We composed it between London and LA,” shared bassist Victoria De Angelis about the new track. “We’re genuinely content with the outcome, and we believe it presents something quite innovative for us.”

Frontman Damiano David concurred and went on to elucidate the meaning behind the song’s lyrics.

“It narrates the tale of someone who lacks a specific gender or identity; you can designate it as you wish,” he reminisced. “They encounter someone else who can discern the sorrow in their eyes, signifying that they feel out of place. It’s an invitation from one person to another to embark on this new escapade, not knowing precisely what they will find, but merely savoring the journey.”

The song may very well be included in the setlist for the band’s upcoming US tour dates. The tour commences on September 21 with a headlining performance at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Additionally, enthusiastic fans will also have the opportunity to experience Måneskin’s latest single live for the first time when the quartet performs it at this year’s MTV VMAs on September 12. The awards ceremony also features the group as nominees in the ‘Best Rock’ category.
