Her real name is Dilbər, and she created the name by combining her own name with the name of her only sister, Nilufər. According to Delin, she used a “mirror method” by choosing letters from both names and creating the form Del + ni = Delin.
Later, she discovered that the word “Delin” means “God’s gift.” She describes this meaning as a special and unexpected coincidence and says that from the very beginning she wanted to be known by this name.
A creative journey that started with her grandfather’s poems
Delin’s love for creativity began during her childhood. From an early age, she was interested in painting, writing poems, fashion design, and music.
Her grandfather had a special influence on the way she sees art. A notebook filled with poems written by her grandfather in Persian became a great source of inspiration for Delin. One day, when she asked him how he wrote those poems, his answer stayed in her memory for years:
