50 Cent Accused of Deliberately Targeting Woman with Mic Throw at LA Show

50 Cent has been accused of singling out a woman by tossing a microphone at her during a concert in LA on Wednesday (August 30).

As per a report by TMZ, Bryhana Monegain, a radio host from Power 106, was struck in the head by the microphone flung by the rapper.

50 Cent seemed to be aggravated after facing a series of malfunctioning microphones, and while he does not dispute throwing the object, his attorney Scott Leemon informed TMZ that he “would never deliberately harm anyone with a microphone.”

Monegain has shared graphic images of the injury to TMZ, which she asserts was inflicted by 50 Cent hurling the microphone in her direction in the production area of the Crypto.com Arena.

On Wednesday night, Monegain filed a police report, alleging to law enforcement that 50 Cent made eye contact with her before throwing the microphone, indicating that he was aware of her presence. The radio host had to be hospitalized due to a head laceration.

This incident follows a string of fans tossing objects at artists during the summer. One of the most perilous incidents took place in June when pop star Bebe Rexha was seen dropping to her knees after a mobile phone struck her in the face.

The incident left the singer requiring stitches above her eye, and it was later reported that the concertgoer who threw the device did so thinking it would be amusing.

Drake was also the recipient of items hurled from the crowd. In July, during the inaugural night of his ‘All A Blur Tour’ with 21 Savage in Chicago, he was struck by an object while on stage. It turned out to be a mobile phone, although he did not comment on the incident during the performance.

In July, Cardi B allegedly reversed the trend when she threw a microphone in the direction of a fan. The battery case that was initiated, though not explicitly naming the rapper, was dropped last month.

Meanwhile, in other 50 Cent news, the rapper, actor, and producer has expressed dissatisfaction with his appearance on a character poster for The Expendables 4, claiming that his head appears detached from his body.
