Margot Robbie has officially taken her husband’s surname in the United Kingdom, almost ten years after they began their life together. The Barbie star updated her personal details and officially removed her maiden name from the UK public records.

According to records from the UK Companies House, the 36-year-old actress quietly updated the documents for her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, without attracting media attention. From now on, all new registration documents and legal contracts list her only by her married name, Margot Elise Ackerley.

Even though her legal name has changed, the actress plans to keep using Margot Robbie in her professional career. Her name will still appear as Margot Robbie in the credits of future big-budget films and on promotional posters to avoid confusing audiences and distributors.

Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley met while filming Suite Française. They dated for three years before secretly getting married in Australia in 2016.
