Mercedes-AMG just unveiled a new car in a really big way – they shut down Los Angeles’ 6th Street Bridge and brought in a bunch of A-List celebrities. The bridge was closed on Tuesday night for the reveal of the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe. Brad Pitt, Jacob Elordi, Kourtney Kardashian, and Travis Barker were among the stars who showed up.
The guest list was pretty impressive, with Kevin Hart, Odell Beckham Jr., Olympic medalist Miles Chamley-Watson, and fashion expert Rahi Chadda also in attendance. George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, two of Mercedes’ Formula One drivers, were there too. According to Melody Lee, Mercedes’ chief marketing officer, Brad Pitt was paid to be there – it was a paid partnership.
Melody Lee said Brad Pitt is a great driver, which is probably why he was chosen to promote the new car. But not all the celebrities were paid – some just love the Mercedes-AMG brand. Jacob Elordi is a fan, and he was supposed to be in France for a film festival, but he had to drop out due to an injury. It’s worth noting that Jacob is dating one of Kourtney Kardashian‘s sisters right now.
