On September 13, 2024, an unexpected incident occurred during Jane’s Addiction’s concert at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston. Singer Perry Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro got into a physical altercation on stage, causing the show to abruptly end after just nine songs. Bassist Eric Avery and drummer Stephen Percy, along with the audience, were left in shock as the band exited early.

Despite the strong start to the show, tensions built, especially during the performance of “Ocean Size,” where Farrell directed profanities at both band members and the crowd. On a positive note, the opening act, Love and Rockets, delivered a fantastic 45-minute set, leaving a strong impression on the audience.
