It’s now official: Nikita Presnyakov and Alena Krasnova are getting a divorce after eight years of marriage.
The 34-year-old grandson of Alla Pugacheva, who lives in the United States, has confirmed the split from his 28-year-old model wife. The couple shared the news on Instagram, explaining that their different views on life led to this decision.
“We have been together for almost a decade. We met very young, when we were still learning about ourselves and the world around us. Over the years, we’ve had light, joy, mistakes, and challenges — but most importantly, we’ve had experience. Now, we realize our visions of family and the future are not the same. This doesn’t mean anyone is wrong or guilty, it just means we’ve grown in different directions. The decision wasn’t easy, but we choose honesty and gratitude. We will always respect what we shared and wish each other happiness.
Rumors of a possible breakup had already appeared in September last year, but Nikita denied them at the time, saying he and Alena “deeply love each other.” The speculation started when Alena returned to Russia from the U.S., where the couple had been living since 2023. According to reports, Presnyakov left Russia after the announcement of mobilization, which affected his theater projects and filming schedule. Alena later rejoined him in the States, but based on her recent social media posts, she now seems to be back in her home country.
Nikita Presnyakov and Alena Krasnova tied the knot in 2017 near Moscow. Their wedding hosted about 200 guests, including Philipp Kirkorov, with Nikita’s mother, Kristina Orbakaite, as the host of the ceremony. The couple does not have children.
