Mike White, a contestant on Survivor 50, made a surprise announcement during the live finale on Wednesday night. He revealed that two Survivor contestants, Charlie Davis and Kamilla Karthigesu, will be making cameo appearances in the upcoming fourth season of his HBO series, The White Lotus.

It turns out that Mike White actually delayed production on The White Lotus season four so he could compete on Survivor 50. He ended up being the fifth person voted out of the competition. When asked why he wanted to return to Survivor, Mike said the show has given him a lot, and he couldn’t resist the opportunity to be a part of its 50th season.

Charlie and Kamilla aren’t the first Survivor contestants to appear on The White Lotus. In the show’s second season, Survivor: David vs. Goliath contestants Angelina Keeley and Kara Kay made guest appearances as hotel guests. The new season of The White Lotus is set to take place in the South of France, during the Cannes Film Festival.

The fourth season has a unique premise, following guests at a fictional hotel near the film festival. The show will feature a star-studded cast, including Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Laura Dern, and many more. The White Lotus is currently filming, but a premiere date has not been announced yet.
