Russian model and influencer Maria Pogrebnyak has recently shared more details about her dramatic weight loss, which left many of her followers both surprised and concerned.
In a new post from her vacation, Maria explained:
“I lost weight while I was sick. I really couldn’t eat at all.”
This isn’t the first time Maria has talked about her health struggles. She previously mentioned that she fell ill on the first day of her trip to Turkey, where she went with her family. During that time, she stopped posting on social media, which worried some of her fans.
Now that she’s back online, the reactions are mixed. While many followers sent kind wishes for her recovery, others commented on her thin frame. Some praised her slimmer look, thinking it was the result of a strict diet. But there were also negative voices, claiming her weight loss could be due to beauty injections or an autoimmune issue.
Maria responded clearly:
“Please don’t comment on my thinness. I lost a lot of weight during that time because I was ill.”
Despite the speculation, she stays focused on her family — and even shared a warm moment hugging her youngest son, Vladimir, in a new video.
