Famous blogger Valeriya Chekalina, known online as Lerchek, recently fell victim to hackers. After a period of silence on her account, a post suddenly appeared, teasing a “grand return” to social media. At first glance, it seemed like Lerchek was back—but soon, the truth came out: scammers were behind it.

The hackers posted a message aimed at her fans, pretending to be Valeriya:

“I’ve waited so long for this! Back with you again! I missed you so much… and, of course, the clothes and bags.”

To make it look convincing, a video allegedly filmed in her wardrobe was also shared.

But the seemingly innocent post hid a trap. The fraudsters inserted a link leading to a phishing site, likely designed to steal personal information from unsuspecting users.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time someone connected to Valeriya Chekalina has been targeted—her ex-husband’s account was hacked in the past as well. Investigations into both incidents are still ongoing.

Social media users should remain cautious: avoid clicking on suspicious links and always verify the authenticity of posts before engaging. Protecting your personal data online is more important than ever.
