Kris Jenner shared a touching birthday message for Amari Thompson, the younger brother of her daughter Khloé Kardashian’s ex, Tristan Thompson.
“Happy birthday to our sweet angel boy, Amari!” she wrote on Instagram. She described how much Amari means to their family, saying that his smile, hugs, and special moments bring out what truly matters — love, family, and being there for each other.
Along with her message, Kris posted a few pictures of Amari, now 19, showing his journey through the years. In one sweet photo, True, Khloé and Tristan’s daughter, and little Tatum were standing beside him. (Tristan also has other children — Prince and Theo — from past relationships.)
Kris ended her post by calling Amari a “bright light” and thanking him for all he’s taught her:
“I thank God every day for you, and I love you so much!
After their mother passed away in 2023, Tristan Thompson became Amari’s legal guardian. Amari lives with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a rare and severe form of epilepsy that often affects a person’s development, behavior, and intellectual skills.
In 2024, Tristan officially became his guardian and said he wants to make sure Amari has a happy, well-cared-for life.
Khloé Kardashian has also been deeply involved. When Tristan’s home was damaged, she let Tristan and Amari stay at her house, even though she and Tristan are no longer a couple.
In an episode of The Kardashians, Kris Jenner praised Khloé:
“Khloé is a true blessing. The way she cares for Amari is inspiring. She’s a gift from God — and so is Amari.”
