Megan Moroney capped the Cloud 9 tour on Thursday, Aug. 27, by delivering the longest concert of her career in Denver, Colorado. The rescheduled show served as the tour’s final U.S. stop and featured eight additional songs.

The 28‑year‑old country singer had to abort the original Denver date after three numbers when she fell ill. She returned a month later to make up for the abrupt ending, offering fans a full‑length performance.

Before the set began, every ticket holder found a complimentary t‑shirt on their seat, a gesture she highlighted in her remarks. “Oftentimes, we’re able to forgive other people, but not ourselves. I’m very grateful that all of you showed up again and like I said, I’m really sorry about last time, but tonight is not only going to be the longest show of the Cloud 9, this is the longest show that my band and I have ever played in my whole career,” she said.

The special setlist added tracks such as Hair Salon, Georgia Girl, Indifferent, and a Dolly Parton tribute I Will Always Love You performed with JP Saxe. She also slipped in a Chris Stapleton cover What Are You Listening To? with Solon Holt, a Toby Keith rendition of Who’s Your Daddy? and a surprise song slot, pushing the total to nine extra numbers.

The expanded roster brought the concert length to roughly two hours, making it the longest show the artist and her band have ever played. Sources said the audience responded with enthusiastic applause throughout the added numbers.

The Cloud 9 tour will resume in September with a series of European dates.

Fans can expect more new material as Moroney continues to promote her debut album.
