Ariana Grande has released her new album Petal, featuring the song ‘Never Get Over Me’, where she sings about exes who can’t forget her.

The Ariana Grande album, which was released on July 31, includes 12 tracks, with ‘Never Get Over Me’ being the 10th song on the list.

On the song, Ariana notes that she knows ‘it’s tempting to be in such close proximity to something so sweet’, referring to herself.

In the chorus, she sings ‘I won’t let you forget how I feel / Come slip into something real / And you’ll never get over me’.

Although it’s unclear who the song is about, it’s a fitting song for Ariana, who recently reunited with her on-again boyfriend Ricky Alvarez after nearly a decade apart.

The album includes other songs like the title track ‘Petal’ and the lead single ‘Hate That I Made You Love Me’.

Ariana has explained why she named the album Petal, giving fans insight into her creative process.
