Abbey Romeo, star of the Netflix series Love on the Spectrum, is talking about her recent breakup from David Isaacman. The two, who were together for almost five years, decided to go their separate ways in April. Abbey revealed on Tea Time with Raven-Symoné and Miranda Maday that she and David are now just best friends.
Abbey said she’s grown a lot over the past four and a half years and feels like she wouldn’t be where she is today without David. She’s excited about this new chapter in her life, joking that being single is amazing, just like Beyoncé said. Abbey and David were one of the most loved couples on Love on the Spectrum.
Abbey’s mom also talked about the breakup, saying that David was happy with his life, but Abbey wanted different things. She’s grateful to David for helping Abbey figure out what she wants and who she is. Abbey’s mom also asked people not to judge relationships between people with autism, like Abbey, because they might not be like typical relationships.
