Aleyna Bozok – an actress from the TV series Yalı Çapkını, was taken into custody in Istanbul. Local authorities say she is being investigated for the suspected use of illegal substances. It wasn’t just her, though; the police carried out an operation on the night leading into April 12, and they ended up detaining 17 people in total.
Right now, there are actually 24 suspects linked to this specific case. However, some of them haven’t been caught yet because they are currently outside the country.
The list of people detained alongside Bozok includes some familiar names. For instance, former football referee Elif Karaarslan and club owner Ali Koz were among those picked up by the police. A few other well-known social media personalities are also involved in the investigation.
