Mikhail Efremov confirmed that he is now living with actress Darya Belousova after his recent release from a penal colony, moving into a rented flat on Moscow’s Patriarch’s Ponds.

The 62‑year‑old veteran actor transferred all his property to his former wife Sofia Kruglova and their children, effectively starting fresh with his new partner.

Belousova, 43, is the daughter of renowned stage actor Vladimir Belousov, a graduate of the Shchepkin Theatre School, and currently performs at the Sovremennik Theatre.

She married fellow actor Shamil Khamatov in 2010, but the couple divorced after eight years of marriage.

According to reports, the romance between the actor and the actress began before the tragic car accident that led to his imprisonment; while he served his sentence, she visited him for dates, prompting Kruglova to file for divorce once she learned of one meeting.

Sources say the pair now keep a low profile, describing themselves as “homebodies” who rarely venture out and enjoy each other’s artistic talent.

Producer Yevgeny Morozov praised Belousova as a strong and expressive presence, noting, “They are on the same wavelength. You have to understand what will be the prelude to intimate relations, whether you’ll discuss Gucci or Stanislavsky in the bedroom. Stanislavsky is more interesting to him.”

Meanwhile, the actor is rehearsing the new production “Vassa Zhelnova” at Nikita Mikhalkov’s Workshop “12” theatre, a performance that will also feature his son Nikolai and, according to insiders, Belousova herself.

Fans can expect to see the duo share the stage later this year, offering a fresh glimpse of their collaborative chemistry.
