Evgenia Medvedeva, the two-time Olympic silver medalist figure skater, is officially dating dancer Ildar Gaynutdinov. The couple confirmed their relationship by sharing black-and-white photos together on social media. Their caption said, “Through dance into life,” showing their close bond as they hugged each other.
Last fall, Medvedeva ended her two-year relationship with former boyfriend, skater Dmitry Chigirev. They did not share reasons for the breakup. Interestingly, fans noticed that Medvedeva’s new partner, 25-year-old Ildar, looks quite similar to her previous boyfriend.
Evgenia and Ildar met during the filming of the 2024 TV project “Star Dances” on TNT, where they performed as a pair. Ildar, 24 years old, is a lead soloist at the Todes Dance Theater led by Alla Dukhova. In 2022, he made his debut at the Bolshoi Theatre as a guest soloist. Besides dancing, he also works as a model, having collaborated with Adidas, Lacoste, and appeared in Vogue Italia.
