Alexander Rosenbaum told RIA Novosti that he has no interest in a film about his life, saying he prefers to let future generations decide if his story merits a screen adaptation.

He explained, “Who am I compared to a factory worker? Who is more needed by society? Let them make something about me in thirty or forty years if I deserve it.” The singer emphasized that the decision should rest with the audience, not with him.

The veteran musician added that his primary mission remains performing on stage. He noted that his concerts are where he feels most useful, and that a biopic would distract from the work he values most.

Rosenbaum also criticized younger performers who chase self‑documentary projects. “Guys, focus on your craft, stop lip‑syncing to fake tracks, and learn to sing live,” he said. “That’s far better than making a movie about yourself.”

Despite the comment, the artist’s business ventures have flourished; his “Tolsty Fraev” restaurant chain reportedly generated about 67 million rubles. Sources said he continues to prioritize music over film, keeping his audience engaged through concerts rather than cinema.
