What Larry David Just Did
He’s back — no joke. And honestly, it’s not like we’re surprised or anything.
Larry David’s Latest Project Sparks Interest
So, what’s the new show about? It’s called Life, Larry & the Pursuit of Unhappiness — a seven-episode sketch comedy series that’s gonna debut on June 26 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO, and it’s available to stream on HBO Max. New episodes will drop weekly, leading up to the season finale on August 7 — that’s a pretty long wait, but somehow it’ll be worth it. The series has a great cast, including Curb Your Enthusiasm actors and some big-time guest stars like Jon Hamm, Sean Hayes, and Jane Krakowski. And the thing is — it was executive produced by Barack and Michelle Obama‘s Higher Ground company, which is pretty lowkey a big deal. Yet, the real question is — how does he keep coming up with this stuff? How does he keep doing this?
But — actually, Barack Obama said it best when he dropped this line: “I have sat across the table from some of the world’s most difficult leaders and wrestled with some of the globe’s most intractable problems. Nothing has prepared me for working with Larry David” — learn more about Larry David. The logline’s pretty genius too: “Those who don’t know history… are doomed to watch Larry David repeat it” — it’s gonna be hilarious, no joke. Gotta say, it’s going to be a wild ride — the new series is gonna break the internet, and we’re here for it.
Real talk — it’s gonna be massive.
