Freya Beer – a singer-songwriter from West London, draws inspiration from art, literature, alternative fashion, and music. She channels these diverse influences through a gothic soul and a daring spirit that embraces darkness.

Her musical journey began with the debut single ‘Dear Sweet Rosie’ in November 2019 under her label Sisterhood Records. The single caught attention, leading to a live session on BBC Radio 6 Music with Marc Riley in 2020. Freya’s debut album ‘Beast’ was recognized by the British Library and archived in their British Sound Archive. Festivals like Isle of Wight and Latitude welcomed Freya and her band, followed by sold-out headline shows in London and Manchester, supporting acts like Honeyblood and Republica. Recently, Freya made her US debut in New York City at Pete’s Candy Store and recorded a live session at Leesta Vall Sound Recordings in Brooklyn.

Manchester’s Finest hailed Freya as “the newest leader of the dark goth pack,” echoed by Time Out London in their October issue celebrating the resurgence of Goth culture. She kicked off the new year with ‘Write Her Off’ and performed spoken word poetry at London Palladium supporting Dr. John Cooper-Clarke. Spring will bring her new single ‘Tatianna‘ and recording sessions in Colchester with producer Tom Donovan.
