The performance, which was included in a tour to promote Harvey’s latest record ‘I Inside The Old Year Dying,’ was recorded on October 13.
It was overseen by director Antoine Carlier and captured by Walter Films in partnership with Arte Concerts. The show highlights a 22-track playlist, during which Harvey and her fellow band members perform the recent album in its entirety, followed by a compilation of her most notable songs, such as ‘Down by the Water,’ ‘White Chalk,’ and others.
The live performance movie debuted on Arte Concerts‘ YouTube channel on Wednesday (December 6) and, as per the press materials, “will receive additional airings on Arte channels” in the coming year.
Harvey has extensive live plans for 2024, with headline slots confirmed at both Roskilde and Øya festivals, along with appearances at Primavera Sound and Flow Festival.
Simultaneously, she is set to perform a major show at Gunnersbury Park in London in August 2024, where she has personally curated the lineup featuring support acts Big Thief, Tirzah, and Shida Shahabi. Harvey expressed her anticipation for providing the audience with an emotional, heartening, and uplifting experience through this carefully chosen lineup.
This year’s UK and European shows marked Harvey’s return to touring for the first time since 2017.
