For the past three days, California has been battling massive wildfires. The damage caused by this natural disaster is estimated at $150 billion (about 255 billion ₼). Over 1,300 hectares have been engulfed by fire, including parts of Los Angeles and its surrounding areas. Foreign media, citing emergency services, report that at least 10 people have died.
Many celebrity homes in the elite Pacific Palisades neighborhood have burned down. Paris Hilton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Anthony Hopkins, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and others have lost their mansions.
Some Russian celebrities also have property in the epicenter of the wildfires. Below is a list of those who own homes in Los Angeles.
Timati
In 2021, Timati purchased a luxurious villa in Los Angeles with a total area of 2,000 square meters. According to experts, such a property may cost around €10 million ($11.5 million / 19.6 million ₼). The rapper hasn’t mentioned his U.S. property for a while and did not comment on the ongoing disaster.
Matilda Shnurova
Matilda Shnurova currently lives in Los Angeles, where she runs fitness courses. The businesswoman reached out through her personal blog to support those affected by the wildfires. She announced that she would provide assistance to those in need.
“I connected to the internet after being in the jungle and checked the news. I can’t believe this is happening in my hometown. I feel deeply sorry for everyone fighting or who has lost their homes. Let’s stay together. Take care of yourselves. Love to all,” Matilda wrote in her personal blog.
Alexei Vorobyov
Alexei Vorobyov was forced to evacuate from his own home. He took only the essentials, including his dog. The artist waited out the fires in a hotel, admitting that he initially tried to fight the approaching flames but later realized it was impossible.
“Thank you to everyone who’s been concerned about me. Don’t worry. My house is just five minutes away from the fire. I evacuated and am safe now,” Alexei shared in his personal blog.
Anzhelika Varum
Leonid Agutin and Anzhelika Varum’s daughter, Elizaveta, resides in the United States. The couple occasionally visits their daughter. Because of this, they purchased a property in Hollywood, an upscale district in Los Angeles. According to media reports, they own a 300-square-meter apartment worth around $2 million (3.4 million ₼). It is noted that the residential complex, where their apartment is located, is situated on the first coastline. The owners also have access to a pool.
Rita Dakota
Rita Dakota shared that she lived just a block away from the raging fire. The singer posted a view of the burning city from her home window, clarifying that she and her husband miraculously managed to fly out to a safe location.
“Friends and followers have been messaging me all day… It’s really terrifying. Everything is burning. Due to strong winds, the flames are spreading faster than they can be contained. Our favorite beach, our favorite cafe, the canyon where we went hiking, our favorite Getty Museum, and thousands of homes have burned down. Somehow, we managed to board a flight to Bali that very day, and we found out about everything while on the plane. God is definitely watching over us,” the singer wrote in her personal blog.
