Raitis Timma, the father of late basketball player Janis Timma, recently spoke out about his son’s controversial relationship with Anna Sedokova during a live broadcast.
According to Raitis, Janis was already married to Sana Osha when he started an affair with Sedokova. In 2019, Janis confessed this to his father, who did not approve but advised him to take responsibility for his actions without hurting Sana.
Despite the situation, Janis wanted to stay with his family. However, Sedokova reportedly pursued him, even following him to Greece in 2019. Raitis believes Anna had a plan to separate Janis from his family. When he saw news of their divorce on social media, he initially thought it was a publicity stunt. But when it turned out to be true, he hoped it would give his son a chance to start fresh.
Raitis remains upset by Sedokova’s statement that she lived “in hell” because of Janis, as he believes this misrepresents his son.
