More than five years have passed since the release of the Text movie, yet Kristina Asmus is still reminded of her bold scene in Klim Shipenko‘s film. This particular moment sparked a wave of hatred toward the actress, and she has spoken about the online harassment she faced. However, the worst is now behind her, and Kristina seems to take her controversial reputation with humor.
In a recent Instagram* story, Asmus shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the Sklif series, featuring Matvey Lykov. In the show, Kristina’s character shares a bed scene with his character. She jokingly captioned the post:
“Will there be bed scenes?”
“Of course, guys! That’s already a standard part of my contract!”
Although Kristina can now joke about it, she hasn’t always been this comfortable with the topic. She previously admitted that she regretted filming the explicit scene in Text.
“It was extremely difficult for me as a woman, as a mother, and as someone who often feels self-conscious. There were four takes, and the first three were milder. The fourth one made it to the final cut,” she revealed.
She even mentioned that she would rather pay a penalty fee to refuse similar scenes in the future or wait for a body double instead of experiencing such stress again.
