The Fods is a project led by Ol Collins, a former member of the band Flawed and currently a guitarist for the Goodstock Project. It involves various collaborators, both longstanding partners from the ’90s and new connections made online.
The music is diverse but maintains a commitment to a low-fi, relaxed style reminiscent of “The Desert Sessions.” In Spring 2023, they participated in a challenge to write an EP in a month, resulting in the “One To Watch” EP, released in October.
They also launched the Don’t ARgue project in late 2023, which revives early recordings from the 1990s band Good Stock Records, with the lead single “You’ve Not Got Me” released in December 2023.
