VOLT RITUAL is on their quest for the ultimate riff. Formed in Bielsko-Biała, Poland in 2020, the band initially practiced in an abandoned and cold house, as a volt ritual requires only electricity. From the start, their focus has been on delivering heavy riffs and high-energy grooves. Their main inspirations have always been Fu Manchu, Monster Magnet, Black Sabbath, and Electric Wizard.
Their self-titled debut album was released in June 2022, and since then, the band has actively performed live shows with other riff warriors. In December 2022, they released the single “Droga 2023” and saw the departure of founding member Marcin. However, with Tomek joining as the new drummer, the band’s sound reached a new level. Together with Tomek, they recorded the “Return to Jupiter” EP, which was released on February 2, 2024. The band also welcomed Joanna on bass in mid-2024, completing their lineup.
In 2025, the band released their new EP, “Swamp Lake City”, and announced more live shows. The new EP features classic stoner riffs and explores themes of the Solar System and gothic horror. The music for the EP was recorded in 2024, mixed and mastered by Roch Gablankowski, and the cover artwork was designed by Mateusz Węgrzynkiewicz. The album was released on February 7, 2025, in digital format (pre-save) and a limited CD edition.
