Wavewulf, a New York-based electronic artist and producer (Nicholas Long), has been passionate about synthesizers since middle school, influenced by his father’s love for music.
His interest in synthesizers deepened after attending a Depeche Mode concert at age 13. In 2017, following his mother’s death, Long founded Wavewulf, investing in analog synthesizers and recording equipment.
Wavewulf’s music explores environmental, political, and philosophical themes, serving as an emotional outlet for Long to process his parents’ deaths and contemplate life’s big questions.
