Last year, Holy Fawn, an excellent heavy shoegaze group hailing from Phoenix, unveiled an outstanding album titled “Dimensional Bleed.” In the upcoming month, Holy Fawn is set to embark on a United States tour alongside Caracara. Today, they have released a charming new six-minute track named “Glóandi.”

According to Google, “Glóandi” translates to “glowing” in Icelandic. Perhaps there’s a considerable Icelandic influence in Arizona, or maybe Holy Fawn is paying homage to Sigur Rós. There’s certainly a sense of longing and magnificence in “Glóandi.” The song commences with a throbbing, unpredictable drum rhythm and a tingling guitar melody, gradually expanding into something extensive and beautiful. Feel free to listen to it below.
