While raising a child on her own, she earned a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and successfully passed a demanding federal pharmacist exam—all without a support system to lean on. Many people doubted her ability to balance art, motherhood, and an intense academic career. She answered those doubts the only way she knew how: by keeping going.
