But now, those claims have been denied.

According to AZXEBER.COM, Leyla Afandiyeva, the director of the Baku Jazz Festival, wrote on Facebook that Albina is actually alive and well.

She shared the following message:

“My dear friends, I just received some news — Albina is alive. Since yesterday, there’s been false information spreading online. I don’t know the reason behind it, but I wish Albina the best and I’m really glad this turned out to be someone’s mistake — or maybe even something done on purpose.”

Earlier, several news outlets had reported that Albina was allegedly killed in the USA, citing Leyla Afandiyeva as the source. But now it’s clear — those reports were not true.
